About Us
Meet our Founder/CEO, Stuart.
Stuart Lynn is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and Founder at Lynn Development. He is also the Founder and CEO of LynnGroup, a family of engineering, construction and development companies serving the Texas Gulf Coast. The five divisions within LynnGroup serve the entire Golden Crescent providing civil, structural, and windstorm engineering services as well as new home construction, land development, piling services and steel building erection.
Stuart focuses on fostering a culture in which the entire team not only makes a difference while at work, but more importantly outside of the office. He believes that relationships come first, and business will follow. Stu, as he is affectionately known, does everything in his power to help the team live out the company vision in “We think BIG, to work BIG, to give BIG.”
When he is not working on the next big idea, Stuart enjoys spending time with his beautiful bride of 20 years, their eight kids and five grandkids.
Stuart believes his reason for being is to make a difference, EVERY DAY, so that the underdog in us has a chance to succeed. He is passionate about giving back with time, money and resources to numerous charities and nonprofits – locally and abroad.
Meet Alicia, Our Fearless Leader!
Alicia Waters leads day-to-day operations and business development for Lynn Development, shepherding deals to completion and ensuring that purchasers receive excellent service and timely communication.
Alicia has a wide range of experience from corporate and small business sales and management to community development. She shares her life with her hyper Bulldog Taz and Coco her rescue cat.
She enjoys managing her hobby farm, antiquing, doing hands-on projects, reading and being with her friends and family. When he is available she loves cooking for and hanging out with her son, Jake.
She understands the significance of homeownership for our customers and the community. Your home is where memories are made and your refuge from the world. She feels it is a privilege to be part of the process of helping the American Dream come true for our clients.
She has a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the University of Texas–Dallas.
Meet Jil, our Property Manager.
Jilian Lynn develops and maintains trusted relationships with new and existing clients through timely, accurate communication.
She joined the Lynn team in May 2021. When Jilian is not working, you can almost always find her hanging out with her family and her dog Bentley. One of her favorite ways to spend the weekend is having her nieces and nephews stay for a sleepover. She also enjoys painting, traveling, and whipping up a good meal in the kitchen.
Jilian believes that it is very important to do your part in giving back to those who are less fortunate, locally and abroad. She comes to work every day motivated by the fact that her company feels the same way and is actively doing their part in changing lives.
Meet Jacob, our External Operations Manager.
Jacob Lynn manages the timely completion of our land development projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between sub-contractors, engineers, and city and county officials.
Jacob has worked in the construction industry for almost 10 years and prides himself on his knowledge of the building and development process, as well as his relationships with our subcontractors.
Jacob is a Matagorda County native and resides locally with his wife, Celest, and their 2 daughters. He enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and grilling outdoors. Apart from his family, his favorite accomplishment includes a 10-point buck he has mounted in his office.
Jacob’s biggest motivations in life are to take care of those he loves and give to those in need. He knows the work he completes with Lynn Development contributes to funding of housing projects for those in third-world countries as well as local causes.
